Dr. Stapleton’s practice includes surgical and endoscopic services. She has special interests in laparoscopic and robotic assisted surgery for cancers and benign conditions including hernia repairs. She also performs upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr. Stapleton is the Cancer Liaison Physician for Ridgeview Medical Center and is also the physician representative for the STAR program which helps cancer patients with rehabilitation during and after treatment for their disease.
Dr. Stapleton was selected as one of the “Best Doctors for Women” through Minnesota Monthly magazine in 2011 and 2012. She was also names “Doctor Recommended: Rising Star” in Mpls St. Paul Magazine in 2015 and 2016.
Dr. Stapleton is a Minnesota native orginally from Moorhead, MN. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota- Minneapolis. She then moved east and completed her surgical training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Through the American College of Surgeons she has completed the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Program.
Dr. Stapleton will see patients at the Waconia and Chaska clinics. She operates at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia and the 212 Surgery Center in Chaska. Her outside interests include spending time with her husband and two daughters.
