Dr. Chapman joined Lakeview Clinic as a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in October 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in 2004 and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2008. Dr. Chapman served in the United States Army and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in 2012.
Dr. Chapman was then stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska where she served as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for 4 years. She served as the OB/GYN Department Chief for 3 of those years. Dr. Chapman was honorably discharged from the Army in September 2016.
Dr. Chapman’s practice involves both obstetrics and gynecology. She cares for patients with a variety of concerns including pregnancy, benign gynecology, and reproductive health. Her areas of interest include high and low risk obstetrics, preventive care, contraception, tubal reversals, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Chapman believes in taking a collaborative approach to medicine with her patients in order to individualize treatment plans to meet their specific needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Chapman enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, catching up with friends, golfing, hiking, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. She will be seeing patients in our Waconia and Chaska offices.
