Mark LaRose
Dr. LaRose joined Lakeview Clinic in April, 1999, after serving in the U.S Air Force for over 9 years. Dr. LaRose received his undergraduate degree at St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. He then attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his OB / GYN internship and residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. LaRose was stationed as Chief of Outpatient Services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he was also an assistant professor at Wright State University. He was responsible for training resident physicians in the Incontinence Clinic and in the Operating Room.
Dr. LaRose’s practice involves both gynecology and obstetrics, and he attempts to attend as many of his patients’ deliveries as possible even when not formally on-call. He specializes in routine and high risk obstetrics, preventative care, contraception, infertility, abnormal bleeding, menopausal management and gynecologic surgery, particular urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse. Dr. LaRose is trained in minimally invasive surgery including multi port and single port D’Vinci robotic surgery. He has been selected as a Mpls.St.Paul Top Doctor 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. In January 2016, he began serving as President of Lakeview Clinic.
Dr. LaRose is married to Dr. Monica Norwick, also a board certified OB/GYN, and together they have raised three children. He is now utilizing his teaching experience to improve specialty care in Tanzania and Haiti on medical mission trips. When not caring for his patients, Dr. LaRose shares the joy and the pain of being a Minnesota sports fan and enjoys many of the outdoor activities Minnesota offers, particularly water-skiing, hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing and especially fishing.
