Virtual Appointments Available
Lakeview Clinic now offers Virtual Convenient Care appointments with day, evening and weekend hours to established Lakeview patients 18 months and older. This service is a great alternative to urgent care and will enable patients to see a Lakeview medical provider from the comfort of their own home. VCC providers can only see patients for specific medical concerns. A complete list of VCC services is listed below. Patients will be able to schedule online or by phone for VCC appointments.
What is VCC (Virtual Convenient Care)?
VCC is a same day telehealth option similar to urgent care. Patients can schedule VCC appointments for the following conditions:

- Acute Musculoskeletal Pain (Sprains, Strains & Joint Pain)
- Acne
- Allergies
- Cold or Flu-like symptoms
- Cough/Respiratory
- Ear Pain (Adults only)
- Headaches/Migraines
- Head Lice
- Laryngitis/Voice Loss
- Mastitis (Nursing mothers only)
- Mild Asthma
- Minor Burns
- Motion Sickness
- Mouth Sores/Cold Sores
- Nausea, Vomiting & Diarrhea
- Pertussis/Whooping Cough Exposure
- Pink Eye
- Rash/Skin Conditions
- Sinus/Congestion
- Smoking & Tobacco Cessation
- Sore Throat
- Stye
- Tick Bite
- Urinary Symptoms (Females aged 18 years & older only)
- Vaginal Yeast Infection
Any medical concerns that are not listed above will require an appointment in one of our clinics. Call (952) 442-4461 if scheduling an in-clinic appointment, or schedule online. Controlled substances will not be prescribed during virtual care appointments.

Monday – Thursday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
(closed holidays)
Who can use VCC?
- Patients who have been seen at Lakeview Clinic within the last three years.
- Patients must be 18 months or older.
- Patients must be in the state of MN.
How to use Virtual Convenient Care
Schedule Appointments
Appointments are available:
- Monday – Thursday, 10:30 – 7:00 PM
- Saturday, 12:00 – 4:00 PM
- Sunday, 10:00 – 2:00
Scheduling is easy! Online scheduling for same day appointments is available anytime during clinic and VCC hours. Patients can choose appointment times up to two days in advance of their appointment.
Appointment Confirmation
Patients will receive an appointment confirmation email/text shortly after scheduling their appointment. This message will also contain STEP 1, a link for confirming & preregistering for appointments. If any changes in day or time of the appointment are needed, please contact the clinic as early as possible.
Preregistration (Step 1)

Patients will find a preregistraion link in the appoinment confirmation message. Use the preregistration link to complete you patient forms. THESE FORMS NEED TO BE COMPLETED IN ORDER TO CHECK IN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. For any questions regarding these forms, please call the clinic at (952)442-4461.
Check in (Step 2)

Patients will receive a text message containing a check in link no sooner than 30 minutes prior to their appointment. Please use the link to check in 10 – 15 minutes prior to your appointment. Please choose Virtual Convenient Care as the purpose of your visit. Patients who are unable to find their link can use the check in button in VCC User Links at the top of this page or contact our VCC coordinator at (952)442-4461 for assistance.
Virtual Waiting Room (Step 3)

Patients will receive a text message with a link for the VCC waiting room. This link is also available in VCC User Links at the top of this page. Once on the Virtual Waiting Room page, read the information provided prior to clicking the “Enter Waiting Room” box. Please enter the virtual waiting room approximately 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
A Lakeview VCC provider will join you as soon as they are available.
When to go to the ER or call 911
There are a variety of medical conditions that require rapid or advanced treatments that are only available in a hospital setting. The following symptoms are best evaluated in an Emergency Room, including:
- Difficulty breathing, chest pain or heart attack
- Severe bleeding or abdominal pain
- Head trauma, fainting or loss of consciousness
- Weakness/numbness on one side, or stroke
- Serious burns
