Dr. Mandal Joined Lakeview Clinic in August, 2025. He was born in Australia and raised in Beaumont, Texas. There, he studied Chemistry at Lamar University and went on to complete medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. After finishing a one year surgical intern year in Pontiac, Michigan, he spent three years training in a full-spectrum family medicine residency at the University of Iowa in Sioux City.
He enjoys caring for the full family, complex care, procedures, acute care, preventive care, and teaming up with his patients.
Dr. Mandal resides in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, ping pong, weightlifting, running, hiking, reading epic fantasy novels, TV shows, traveling, and spending time with his cat.
Matt grew up in Eagan, MN. He studied at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in 2019. Prior to joining Lakeview Clinic, Matt worked as a Family Medicine PA in Duluth, MN.
Matt enjoys the variety and continuity of care that Family Medicine provides. He enjoys acute/urgent care, chronic disease management, preventative care, and minor office procedures. He has special interests in dermatology and mental health.
In addition to practicing medicine, Matt enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking, following NFL football, and spending time with his wife and dog.
Alicia received undergraduate degree in nursing from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University in 2011. She spent the first 7 years of her nursing career working in intensive care and medical/surgical care in the Twin Cities.
Graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati in December 2017, Alicia is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Alicia is excited to see a variety of ages and start developing meaningful relationships with families throughout the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog Josie, traveling, boating on the lakes, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and reading.
Dr. Benjamin Scherschligt joined Lakeview Clinic in 2014. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. He graduated medical school from Loyola University in Chicago, then completed his family medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Dr. Scherschligt enjoys practicing the full spectrum of primary care, with special interest in preventative medicine, cardiovascular disease, diabetes care, and men’s health. He believes that a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management, is the cornerstone of preventing and treating many diseases.
Sandra Z. Beulke, MD, attended Mayo Medical School, where she was elected outstanding medical student by the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) in 1994. Dr. Beulke then completed her Family Medicine residency in Duluth, Minnesota, where she was appointed Resident of the Year by the MAFP in 1997. Following her residency, she practiced for five years in New Richmond, Wisconsin, in the clinic and emergency department.
Dr. Beulke then joined Lakeview Clinic in April 2003. She provides the full spectrum of family medicine, including pediatric care, adolescent and adult medicine, geriatric care, and gynecology. Throughout her practice, she emphasizes a patient-centered approach, shared decision making, and establishing a partnership with each of her patients regarding their care. She has a special interest in working with the whole family through all stages of life, from newborns to seniors, with an emphasis on women’s health, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and promoting healthy aging.
Since 2013, Dr. Beulke has been the Medical Director at Lakeview Clinic. In this role, she leads several committees that serve to promote the quality and reliability of healthcare. She is also a contributing author on Lakeview Clinic’s blog page.
Outside of work, Dr. Beulke enjoys spending quality time with her family of 4 at their home in Chaska, as well as growing her own herbs and vegetables, going on bike rides and runs, cozying up with a good book, and cooking fun new meals. She and her husband of over 30 years enjoy yearly travels to both Montana for skiing and Arizona for hiking and golfing. Together, they also enjoy visiting their daughter and her kitty out in Chicago.
