Heidi Wuerger, MD, joined Lakeview Clinic as a Family Physician in September of 1999 and sees patients in Watertown. Dr. Wuerger completed her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin in Madison.

She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, also in Madison. Her residency was at St. John’s Hospital through the University of Minnesota.  Recertified with American Board of Family Practice Fall of 2012.  As a Family Physician, Dr. Wuerger has training and experience in the care of patients from infancy through adulthood.  She enjoys full spectrum family practice including sports medicine, gynecology procedures and urgent care.

When she is not working, Dr. Wuerger enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor pursuits such as  camping, gardening and running an apple orchard. She also has also traveled doing volunteer work, which she has written about on Lakeview Clinic’s Blog.

Dr. Bennett grew up in Minnesota and has always considered it home.  He completed his undergraduate training at University of Wisconsin – Madison and later received his Medical Degree at Tulane University in New Orleans. His Family Medicine Residency was completed at Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID.

Upon completion of his medical training, Dr. Bennett returned to Minnesota and began practicing medicine at Lakeview Clinic. He is passionate about helping people with disease prevention by encouraging patients to embrace healthy lifestyle choices. He especially enjoys caring for patients with complex and chronic medical conditions, providing acute and urgent care, and performing minor procedures.

Dr. Bennett finds fulfillment in the diagnostic process and in building relationships with patients while guiding them through their healthcare journey. He enjoys spending time with people; helping them through medicine brings him great joy. He feels fortunate to work at Lakeview Clinic doing what he loves.

Dr. Bennett is happy to have established a long term home in Minnesota for his family. He is married with two children and shares his home with a fluffy and spirited Samoyed dog. He enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including boating, hiking, or spending time with family. He is also passionate about fitness and weightlifting, and when time allows, loves relaxing with an epic fantasy novel.
