Allison Sowers, PA-C joined Lakeview Clinics in 2023. With more than 17 years of experience, Allison is a dedicated healthcare professional who earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University in 2006. She stands out as the recipient of the prestigious John R. Buckner Award, a testament to her commitment to compassionate family medicine.
Having served patients in Des Moines, IA, and Davenport, IA, Allison has demonstrated expertise in primary care and family medicine. She has a strong commitment and passion for holistic patient care, caring for the whole patient through positive patient outcomes and empathetic communication.
Originally from Iowa, she moved to Victoria, MN in 2023. Outside of her work, Allison, her husband, and their two children enjoy many activities, including fishing, hiking, outdoor exploring, and traveling. Allison looks forward to trying cross-country skiing this winter.
Makayla joined Lakeview Clinic in September 2023. She first received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Health and Wellbeing Sciences with a minor in public health. She then went on to the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute in Connecticut, where she served as class president and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. It was throughout her time in school that Makayla discovered her passion for family medicine.
Makayla was born and raised in Waconia, MN, and is ecstatic to be back in her hometown to treat the community that did so much for her growing up. Driven by a genuine commitment to compassionate healthcare, Makayla enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes that patients should be a part of
their healthcare journey every step of the way.
Outside of the office, Makayla enjoys cooking with her husband, boating around Lake Waconia, traveling to different countries around the world, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Dr. Stoltman is a triple board certified physician in Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. She began at Lakeview Clinic in 2021 and works full-time in the Waconia clinic. She currently serves as our Medical Director of Quality, is a member of our Board of Directors, and the chair of the Medical Affairs Committee.
She is a born and raised Minnesotan, having grown up in Montevideo which is located in West Central Minnesota. Her parents still reside there and both practice medicine.
Dr. Stoltman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences medical school and completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Stoltman practices full-spectrum family medicine. She is a part of our newborn rounding team that supports new mothers and their babies shortly after delivery and assists in transition to care in the clinic. Dr. Stoltman welcomes families into her practice and enjoys caring for individuals throughout the span of their lifetime.
Continued education is one of the pillars of primary care and Dr. Stoltman is particularly passionate about this, attending multiple conferences annually to stay abreast of the most up to date and cutting-edge treatments available to patients. She holds board certifications in Family Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She is also a DOT Certified medical examiner.
Dr. Stoltman enjoys sharing her expertise through community engagement. She has recently presented for the Rotary Club of Waconia/West Carver and the Healthcare Leaders Association of Minnesota. She has recorded podcasts for Ridgeview Medical Center focusing on Geriatric topics and Journal Article Review.
Dr. Stoltman resides in the western suburbs with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golfing, playing the piano, competing in triathlons, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer K. Ische, D.O., joined the staff at Lakeview Clinic as a Family Medicine Physician including obstetrics. She works at our Waconia location.
Dr. Ische grew up in Norwood Young America and is a graduate of Central High School. She received her undergraduate degree in Child Psychology from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She then attended Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. She completed her Family Medicine Residency through the University of Minnesota at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Her special interests include obstetrical care, pediatrics, preventative care, and osteopathic manipulation.
Dr. Ische resides in Waconia Township with her husband Ben and children. She enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, gardening, attending sporting events, and shopping.
